Not much to say here except that it performs as intended: to be struck with another piece of metal (hammer) to drive further into a piece of wood another piece of metal (cleat and/or staple). It didn't deform or shatter with repeated use, which would have reduced its rating. The knurled shaft is helpful when holding the tool in place on the head of the cleat. I used this tool on hardwood flooring cleats only, and thus cannot speak to its performance on staples.
