This product struck me as a little pricey (I'm pretty frugal), but I really wanted something so I could turn my dust collector on and off remotely. What good is a DC if you don't use it (out of laziness)? So I plunked down the few extra bucks for this item. I never looked back. Plug it in, slip the battery into the remote control and you're done. It works like a charm. That simple. All products should work this well.
