I have average size hands (5'8'' 160lb) and they fit just fine, but would probably be perfect for a dude with bigger hands. I've set the stick holding hand on fire a few times gas welding. I felt enough to know something was burning, but not enough to do any damage. Also the gloves are in good shape after, but the fingers are a little stiffer.
